Why is the link needed?
Your books need to know which of their accounts the money moved through. "Choose the bank account in your books that this bank account belongs to. It is set once and used for every payment and statement of this account." Once it is set, Deline shows In your books: followed by the account.
Can I change the link later?
No. The link is fixed once it is saved, and Deline does not offer a way to change it. Check the account before you press Use this account.
Who can link it?
Only the owner. Everyone else sees "The owner links this bank account to the books once. Ask the owner."
If something goes wrong
- "Your chart has no bank account yet. Add one in Chart of accounts.": add the bank account to your chart (see Add an account to your chart of accounts), then come back.
