Add an account to your chart of accounts

In Books → Chart of accounts, press New account, enter a code that is not used yet, a name and the type, and press Add account.

Steps

  1. Open Chart of accounts from Books.

  2. Press New account.

  3. Enter the code, the name and the type.

    The type decides where the account appears in your reports: asset, liability, equity, revenue or expense.

  4. Press Add account.

If something goes wrong

  • "Code … is already used by …": choose another code.
