Why does it matter?
The time zone decides which day "today" is for your business. Deline uses that day for the date of a new invoice, for when an invoice becomes overdue and for when reminders go out. Next to the zone, Today here shows the date it gives right now.
While no time zone is set, dates and "today" use UTC. Around midnight that can put a new invoice on the wrong day, so choose your zone once.
Does a change move dates I already recorded?
No. As Deline says: "Changing the time zone does not change dates already recorded. It decides which day “today” is for this business from now on."
Which zones are offered?
Zones in the country where the business is taxed come first, then all the others.
Can I see when it was changed?
Yes. Open Details and history below the zone: it shows how the zone was set and every change, from which zone to which, with its date and time.
If something goes wrong
- The button is missing and Time zone shows Read only: you are not an owner. Ask an owner of the business to change it.
