How does Deline set an invoice's due date?

From the payment terms: the business's Default payment terms (days), unless the customer has its own. "Use 0 for payment on the invoice date; leave blank to use 30 days. Customers can override this." The due date is the invoice date plus those days, and you can still change it on a draft.

Where do I set the terms?

  • For the business: Default payment terms (days) in Settings → Business. It applies to new invoices.
  • For one customer: Payment terms on the customer, either Business default · … days or Custom terms with Days after invoice date.

Can I change the due date after issuing?

No. An issued invoice keeps its due date. If it is wrong, correct the invoice with a credit note and issue a new one. Payment reminders count their days from the due date.

If something goes wrong
