Require owner approval before invoices are issued

In Settings → Approvals, turn on Require owner approval before issuing invoices. Team members can then prepare invoices, but an owner approves each draft before it is issued.

Steps

  1. Open Settings and choose Approvals.

  2. Turn on Require owner approval before issuing invoices.

    Members see Request owner review on their drafts.

If something goes wrong

  • "An owner needs to approve this version first.": the draft changed after approval; ask the owner to approve it again.
