What can my accountant do with the Accountant role?

The Accountant role is made for your accountant: books, reports and invoices, without your billing or team. Invite them with that role from Settings → People & access, so you never have to give them the owner's access.

What can an accountant do?

  • See and prepare invoices, and issue them.
  • See customers and products.
  • See, prepare, approve and post in the books: journals, bills, periods and the chart of accounts.
  • See bank data and match and reconcile statements.
  • Run and export reports, see the activity history, and use the AI assistant within these.

What can't an accountant do?

Billing and plans, the team, closing the business, changing the tax country and connections stay with the owner. Signing and filing to the Ukrainian ДПС is in no role: only the owner can allow it, through custom access.
