Spain is bookkeeping only for now
Deline does not issue Spanish invoices until VeriFactu is ready. You can keep drafts and record in the books the invoices you issued in your invoicing software. The statuses below apply once Spanish invoices are issued in Deline.
The statuses
- Preparing for AEAT: the invoice is issued and valid; its VeriFactu record is being made.
- Saved for AEAT: the record is saved with its security fingerprint and goes to the AEAT automatically.
- Sending to AEAT: the AEAT did not answer this time; Deline tries again on its own. Nothing to do.
- Registered with AEAT: the AEAT has registered the invoice. Check it on the AEAT site opens the AEAT's own check.
- Registered, with a note: registered, with a note worth a look.
- AEAT needs a fix: the invoice is still issued and valid, but the AEAT could not register it yet. Deline says what to change and keeps trying meanwhile.
The usual fixes
- "AEAT did not recognise your business NIF.": check the NIF in Settings, Business, Spanish tax details. It must match your census registration exactly.
- "AEAT could not match your customer's tax number.": check the customer's NIF or EU VAT number and their country, then save the customer again.
- "An IVA or surcharge rate is not one AEAT accepts for this date.": check the rate on each line and the invoice date.
- "The type of invoice or its correction details did not fit.": to correct an issued invoice, create a credit note from it rather than editing it.
- "VeriFactu records are in euros, and this invoice is not.": issue Spanish invoices in euros.
- "AEAT's service was busy or unavailable.": nothing to do; Deline tries again automatically.
