Add a customer's sales tax exemption certificate

Open the customer, open Tax exemptions, choose the type, enter the certificate number, the state and the expiry date, add the certificate file and press Save certificate. Deline keeps the certificate with the customer.

  1. Open the customer from Customers & suppliers.

  2. Open Tax exemptions.

  3. Choose the type, enter the certificate number, the state and the expiry date.

    For example Resale.

  4. Add the certificate file the customer gave you.

  5. Press Save certificate.
