Why does Deline ask me to choose a plan first?

Every business in Deline needs a plan. A new business needs an active plan, Basic or higher, before it can issue invoices or save work. Until then you can still set up the business, choose the plan and export what you have.

What does it look like?

  • On the plan screen: Your business starts here, with Choose Basic to enter your workspace.
  • In Settings → Plan & billing: No plan yet and "Start Basic to issue invoices and use your workspace."
  • When a member who is not the owner tries to issue: "The business owner can choose or restore a plan. Your access is included in the business subscription."

Who chooses the plan?

Only the owner. Team members are included in the business's subscription and never pay themselves. See Choose your plan and start with a €1 first month.

When is no plan needed?

  • A demo business never needs a plan. It is fictional and sends nothing.
  • A business covered by its accountant's Unlimited (accountants) plan already has access.
  • A business with complimentary access shows Complimentary Basic and needs no payment.

If something goes wrong

  • "Checkout isn't open yet. Try again later, or contact us and we'll help.": plans are not on sale for your workspace yet. Nothing is charged.
  • "This business already has Basic included. Nothing to pay.": your business is already covered.
