Will reconnecting my bank create duplicate lines?

No. Reconnecting opens your existing bank connection again; it does not add a second bank. Each bank movement is stored once, so lines you already have are not added again, and "your history stays just as it is."

Why does the bank ask me to reconnect?

"This isn't us: by law, banks ask for your consent again every 90 to 180 days." Deline shows Your access to … ends on … before it happens and Reconnect … to renew it on the bank's own page.

What about a new PrivatBank or monobank token?

Use Paste a new token on the connected bank. The token must belong to the same account holder; a token for someone else is refused with "This token is for a different account. Connect it as a new bank."

What if I connect the same bank again as a new connection?

Avoid it: use Reconnect instead. If the same payment does end up recorded twice in your books, undo one of them. See Why is a payment counted twice, and how do I stop it?
