How do I undo a reconciliation?

Open Reconciliation history, press Undo on the statement, write a reason and confirm. The books keep the original record and post nothing. You can then change matches and reconcile the statement again.

When should I undo one?

When the statement was reconciled by mistake or has been corrected. A reconciled statement also blocks unmatching: "This statement is reconciled. To unmatch a line, undo the reconciliation first." The Open history button takes you there.

What happens step by step?

  • Press Undo next to the statement in Recorded reconciliations.
  • Write the Reason for undoing and press Undo reconciliation.
  • Deline asks Confirm undo: "The books keep the original record and post nothing. Undo it now?"
  • The statement shows Undone with the date, and Deline says you can reconcile it again.

If something goes wrong

  • "The books kept this match: a locked period or a recorded reconciliation still relies on it. Undo that reconciliation or reopen the period first.": the month is locked. The owner or the accountant reopens it in Periods first.
