What happens when I reconcile?
"Reconcile accepts the selected matches and records these outstanding items and notes. It does not move money or post a journal." The statement then shows in Reconciliation history as Reconciled with the date.
- Matched: the bank line and the entry in your books are the same money. You can also Match manually when one deposit pays two invoices; both sides must add up exactly.
- Outstanding: a line that is not in your books yet at the statement's end, with a reason you write.
Does reconciled mean the money is in my account?
It means your books and your bank statement agree for that statement. The money itself was moved by your bank, not by Deline.
Can I change a reconciled statement?
Yes, by undoing the reconciliation first. The original record is kept; see How do I undo a reconciliation?
Explanation written from the Deline app's own screens and texts (build eba146497 (Deline cf723fe1f)); it has no steps to check.
