Did my invoice reach my books?

Open the invoice and look at its accounting activity. Deline says whether the invoice is "Sent to your books.", still waiting, or refused, and why. An issued invoice usually posts by itself; when it can't, Deline says what to do.

What can it say?

  • "Sent to your books.": it is in the books.
  • "The invoice is waiting to be sent to your books: ….": press Send now, or wait: "It will be retried automatically."
  • "An earlier record for this business must be sent first.": records go to the books in order.
  • Sent to your books, not posted yet: it waits in the Posting queue, with the reason, such as "It needs a review in the Posting queue before it can post. A new customer, for example, may first need linking to your books."
  • "Your books refused this invoice: …." with "Nothing was posted."

Who can post it?

Someone who may post to the books. "It posts by itself only for someone who can post to the books and has a confirmed account." Otherwise post it yourself in the Posting queue.

If something goes wrong

  • "Sending to accounting failed. Try again."
