How do I export my data from Deline?

Open Settings → Connections and use Download data: Invoices CSV for a spreadsheet of your invoices, All business data for a full copy with the PDFs of issued invoices, and Accounting books for the books. Reports and the activity history have their own Export buttons.

What is in each download?

  • Invoices CSV: your invoices, as CSV.
  • All business data: the business's records as JSON and the PDFs of issued invoices, without passwords, keys or other secrets.
  • Accounting books: a separate JSON download, including foreign-currency records and their rates.

You can download a full copy at any time. Keep your own records for your tax and legal obligations.

And reports?

Reports can be exported too, for example to send the aged receivables to your accountant (see Export the aged receivables for your accountant). The Activity history exports as a CSV spreadsheet or a PDF document.

Who can export?

The owner can download the full business data. Other members need Download exports and report files; a member who cannot download the business data sees that the owner can.

Can I bring data in too?

Yes, under Import data in the same place: preview customer and product CSV files before importing them.
