Lock a month after you have checked it

When a month is checked and its tax return is prepared, lock it. Nobody can then post into those dates by mistake, including entries that were already prepared. You can reopen a month later, with a reason, if something must change.

If something goes wrong

  • You need to post into a locked month: open the month, write the reason under Reopen this period and press Reopen period. Lock it again when you are done.
  • The month is not in the list: it has no accounting period yet; it is created when you first post into it.
