Tasks
Your tasks lists the background work you started, and Business agent lists the business agent's runs. Background jobs "start within a few minutes and only read records. Nothing is posted, paid or sent. Your permissions are checked before each job starts. Owners and editors can start jobs." A finished job has View result; a queued one can be stopped with Cancel job.
Approvals
Here the business agent's payment reminder suggestions wait under Needs review. "Approving records your decision and sends nothing. You send the reminder from the invoice, with its own confirmation." Only someone who can issue invoices decides.
Routines
A routine is a saved workflow with a trigger: On demand, Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or when something happens, such as When a quote was accepted.
- A new version starts disabled: "Saving creates a disabled version. Test the new version before enabling its triggers."
- Test workflow queues a dry run: "Test result · Nothing delivered".
- Enabling needs "A successful test of this exact version and current permissions". Disable "Stops future triggers. Previously completed work and history remain."
- Hold to run: "Queues real work within this workflow's current permissions and approvals."
If something goes wrong
- "Your current role cannot use workflows." or "Your current role cannot use the agent.": ask an owner.
- "You do not have access to reminder approvals."
- "The outcome is not confirmed. Retry sends the same saved request.": press Retry same request; it is not done twice.
