Where is the receipt kept for a payment or bill?

Right beside the entry it belongs to. A bill keeps its PDF or photo under Bill files, and a bank payment you record can carry its receipt with Attach receipt. You open the record and the proof is there.

How do I attach it?

  • A bill: under Attachments, drop the file on Add files and press Attach file. See Record a bill and attach the PDF or photo.
  • A payment from the bank: when you record the line, use Attach receipt, shown as Receipt for this payment.

Which files work?

A PDF, or a clear photo in PNG or JPEG. Each file is checked for viruses before it is kept. A file that fails the check, or is another type, is refused.
