Why does a page say it works with books in US dollars only?

Some parts of the books are built for books kept in US dollars first. In books kept in euros or hryvnias, those pages show Not available for these books yet: "This page works with books kept in US dollars for now. The Overview, chart of accounts and main reports work in your books' own currency." Nothing is wrong with your books.

Which parts are USD only for now?

  • The asset register and prepaid schedules: "Asset register and prepaid schedules: USD books only". A bill with equipment or prepaid lines is still recorded; those lines are just not spread over the months.
  • A few lists on the Overview: "… are available for books kept in USD only, for now, so they are not listed for these … books."
  • Keeping an overpayment as customer credit from the invoice screen.

What works in my own currency?

The Overview, the chart of accounts, journals, bills, reconciliation and the main reports, such as profit and loss and the balance sheet, plus your country's VAT returns.

Can I change my books' currency to USD?

No. Your books' currency comes with your tax country: "This sets the books currency, chart of accounts, taxes, reports and invoice details. It can change only until the first invoice is issued or books are set up."
