How do I approve the monthly ПДВ declaration in Deline?

Open Accounting → Reports, check the month on the VAT declaration card and press Approve these figures. Approving fixes exactly the figures you see. Nothing is sent to the ДПС when you approve.

When does the declaration appear?

Only for a ПДВ payer. The business needs an ІПН платника ПДВ and a VAT registered from date in Settings → Business → Ukrainian tax details. Without them the card says "Not VAT-registered, so there is no ПДВ declaration.", and the owner can press Record VAT registration.

What does the card show?

  • The month, with Previous month and Next month to move between months.
  • The amount: VAT payable to the budget, or Negative value (carried forward) when the credit is larger.
  • Filing due and Payment due. If a date was moved off a weekend or holiday, the pill says when it was moved from.
  • The rows of the declaration: Row, Line, Volume (A) and VAT (Б), in whole hryvnias, as you enter them on the form.
  • A pill that says Agrees to the VAT accounts or Does not agree to the VAT accounts.

How does approving work?

  • Check the rows and the pill. If it says Does not agree to the VAT accounts, the button stays off with "Agree to the VAT accounts first". Post or correct the month's VAT entries first.
  • Press Approve these figures. Deline asks Approve the … declaration? and shows the amount and the due dates.
  • Confirm. The card then says Approved on and the date.

If your books change after you approved, the card says Changed after approval. Check the new figures and approve again.

Who can approve?

The owner and a team member with the Accountant role. An Editor can prepare but not approve, and sees "Ask the owner or your accountant to approve the declaration."

If something goes wrong

  • "The declaration does not agree to the VAT accounts (64x). Post or correct the month's VAT entries, then approve.": some VAT postings of the month are missing or wrong. Fix them in your books; the card checks again.
  • Annexes required: the card says "This declaration needs annexes …, which we don’t produce. Download the main form’s XML and file it together with the annexes in the Електронний кабінет; e-filing from here is refused." Download the XML and file it with the annexes in the Електронний кабінет.
  • "The books did not answer. Try again.": reload the page and try again.
